Abstract

Mashhadi offers a perspective of Gimli’s axe, contradicting the previous views of Chairman Jonathan Simons. Mallorn 13 explains how Gimli’s axe must have been single-bladed for practical use. But shown in an illustration, Mashhadi shows how a balanced double bladed axe with one smaller end could be practical as well.
