On the French Translations of Tolkien's Works
Keywords:

Bridoux shares his reading experience with the poor translations of Tolkien’s work. Specifically, the French translation of ‘The Hobbit’ and other works that have story-breaking miscommunications. Characters, typography, and the appendices prove to be lost in strange translations or removed entirely. This is due to the editor’s nature being known for politics, erotics, and horror, not fantasy.
