Two Letters to the Society

Abstract

This is a segment of letters between Michael Tolkien and the Tolkien Society Secretary. In December of 1974 he wrote about the comfort the society provided in wake of his father’s death. In January of 1975, he wrote on how delighted his father would be on the intelligent discussion of the Society, and that he would consider attending the annual dinner.
